I'm suppose to leave for S'pore for X'mas just like previous years on 21/12/08 nite @ 10am but mum told me not to go as her best friend's hubby was hospitalised and in cricital situation. I insist to go but after a soft talk with mum I decided to stay instead. On Dec/23, we received a called from my aunty telling us tht Uncle Yap just passed on in the hospital. His remains will be send to Nirvana Memorial Hall for 2 days before we send him off to rest in peace. Together with my parents, we leave to KL on Dec/24 morning and reached at my aunt house ard 10 am. We had breakfast nearby and we took a rest before we leave to the memorial hall. We reached the memorial hall ard 2pm as it took us abt an hour drive from my aunt's hse. Wow ! It's a 8 storey building and it looks like a 5 stars hotel. It has a very beautiful and spacious lobby as well as a cafe for visitors. The halls are located on the 1st and 2nd floor whereby the 3rd to 8th floor are rooms ready for rental for the lates relative. But i would not choose to stay over night there if there's a better choice. Who would ? In the hall we are not allowed to pay the last respect with joss stick but with flowers. Funny hor ..... But i think it's b'cuz the whole building is air-con'd gua. There's an article explaning the benefits but i just remebered it all. No mood lol ! This uncle is a very nice and homey guy. He treated everyone with respects and love. He's a good guy too. He dun smoke and drink but he died of cancer. Maybe God's wants him to suffer less tht's why he decided to take him home to be with him. His wife to mum that he passed on in a very good manner, while he's taking a nap. Aunty Kit very sad cuz not able to send him off in his last journey only his son and maid is there that time.
Aunty Kit n Fam'y, do take care of yourself and we shall come to visit you guys soon.
